The Robert Capa- David Seymour Photographic Foundation, Israel, founded by Cornell Capa with his mother, Julia Friedman and Eileen Shneiderman.

The foundation aimed also to improve relations among all peoples and to foster international cooperation through the means of photography. Awards were given yearly to photographers whose works seemed most in the tradition and spirit of Capa and Seymour incorporated into the International Fund for Concerned Photography. Established 1966 The International Fund for Concerned Photography, Inc. (formerly the Werner Bischof-Robert Capa-David Seymour Memorial Fund)

The Fund sought to encourage and assist photographers of all ages and nationalities who are vitally concerned with their world and times. It aimed not only to discover and help new talent but also to uncover and preserve valuable and forgotten archives and to present such work to the public. Established 1974 The International Center of Photography (ICP), New York evolved from the International Fund for Concerned Photography under the leadership of Cornell Capa. It began by encouraging the kind of work exemplified by Werner Bischof (1916-1954), Robert Capa (1913-1954), David Seymour-"Chim" (1911-1956), and Dan Weiner (1919-1959). It has developed into a leading international photography museum.
